DEA agents seize $250K in alleged drug cash, firearms during southeast Houston stash house bust

GALVESTON, Texas (CW39) – Local federal agents seized hundreds of thousands of dollars in suspected drug proceeds and multiple firearms during a raid at a southeast Houston home, authorities said Wednesday.

According to the Drug Enforcement Administration’s Galveston office, agents executed an operation targeting a suspected stash house, recovering approximately $250,000 believed to be tied to drug trafficking activities.

Investigators also seized several firearms from the home, including at least one weapon reported stolen, officials said.

The DEA said the operation was carried out with assistance from the Houston Police Department and the U.S. Marshals Service. However, authorities did not immediately release information about arrests or potential charges connected to the investigation.

Officials did say this seizure is part of ongoing federal efforts aimed at stopping alleged drug trafficking networks and cutting the spread of fentanyl and other narcotics in our region…
