Sharing is caring!
A visit to the Mid-America All-Indian Museum is a great way to support local artists while also learning more about Native American history and culture right here in Wichita. Mid-America All-Indian Museum is dedicated to preserving and sharing the heritage, art, and traditions of Native peoples, and it is one of the more unique cultural stops in the city.
During this special event, guests can shop directly from Native artists offering original artwork, including jewelry, pottery, textiles, and more. It is a great opportunity to find one-of-a-kind pieces while also connecting with the artists and learning about the meaning and traditions behind their work. The Native Women’s Collective will also be on-site serving their popular Indian Tacos, which always draw a crowd.
While this event is free to attend, it is also a great time to explore the museum itself. Inside, visitors will find exhibits featuring Native American art, artifacts, and rotating displays that highlight different cultures and histories. It is a meaningful and educational experience for both kids and adults…
