A project to create a temporary event venue in the parking lot of the vacant former Albertsons lot on North College Avenue is expected to cost about $282,000 and could be done by summer.
The Fort Collins Urban Renewal Authority voted March 26 to allocate $282,443, almost three times as much as originally anticipated, to bring the vision to life.
