Photos: Steampunk Fans Bid a Fond Farewell to Wild Wild West Con

One of the most prominent gatherings in the steampunk world came to an emotional end as the 14th Wild Wild West Steampunk Convention (WWWC) took place March 19-22 in Tucson, Arizona.

WWWC owners Jason and Deena Drotman had previously announced that this would be the convention’s swan song, and there were lots of hugs during the closing ceremony as attendees bid a fond farewell to the event.

They still got to enjoy one last weekend of Southwest-style steampunk shenanigans, including a fashion show, tea dueling, teapot racing, and a Friday night drag and burlesque show…
