Albertsons on Brundage Lane reopens after closure over inspection grade and power outage

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — UPDATE (4 P.M.): The Albertsons on Brundage Lane reopened. Kern County Public Health said the store was closed temporarily Wednesday night by our Environmental Health Emergency Response Team solely due to a loss of power.

An official with Public Health said it was not a traditional closure resulting from findings during a routine health inspection.

PG&E said there was a planned outage for PG&E to conduct important safety work and that all customers were notified in advance. PG&E said the outage started at 7:55 a.m. and all customers were restored by 10:45 a.m…
