BESSEMER, Ala. (WBRC) – A man has been arrested and charged in the shooting death of a 22-year-old in Bessemer.
According to Bessemer police, Carlos Sumpter, Jr. was shot and killed in the 300 block of 30th Street South around 11:18 p.m. on Saturday, March 28.
Court records show that on Tuesday, March 31, Kortez Deshon Prince, 30, was charged with reckless murder in Sumpter’s death.
