NOKOMIS — A dispute over a parking lot lease between two well-known, long-established businesses has landed in court.
Driftage LLC, better known as Pop’s Sunset Grill, has sued its neighbor, Gulf Harbor Marina Condominium Association Inc., challenging its attempt to terminate the lease for property the restaurant uses for parking.
Restaurant owner Joe Farrell said he believes the Association is just trying to “extort” higher rent from his business, which until recently has always enjoyed good relations with the Association board…
