Manley Jr. receives over 3 years in prison for PPP fraud

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A 39-year-old Norfolk man was sentenced to three years and 10 months in prison for his involvement in a $700,000 pandemic relief fraud scheme, according to officials.

Brian Renard Manley, Jr. was convicted of money laundering and unlawful monetary transaction in relation to the fraudulent receipt of funds from the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
