Mid-morning gunfire in Cincinnati’s Westwood neighborhood has police searching for a suspect and neighbors on alert after a man showed up at a hospital with a gunshot wound late Wednesday morning.
Officers were called to the hospital around 11:15 a.m., where they spoke with the victim, who told investigators he had been shot in the 3000 block of McHenry Avenue. Police said the victim was treated for injuries described as non-life-threatening. The suspect is believed to be a Black male dressed entirely in black, and the case remains under active investigation.
