COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — Good Thursday morning! We are off to another mild and partly cloudy start to the day, with temperatures hovering near 60 degrees. Some areas are also dealing with patches of fog, especially in locations that picked up rainfall yesterday, so visibility may be a bit reduced early on.
As we head into the afternoon, temperatures will climb quickly into the low to middle 80s under partly sunny skies. Rain chances remain very limited today, which means most areas will enjoy dry conditions through the evening hours. Overnight, expect a mix of clouds to stick around as temperatures gradually cool back into the low 60s.
Friday will begin in a similar fashion to what we have seen most of this week, but changes start to develop later in the day. Rain chances return with scattered showers and a few storms possible, particularly into the evening. This could have an impact on any Friday night plans, so it is worth keeping an eye on the forecast…
