The Flowery Branch City Council voted 3-2 to deny the rezoning and variance requests of the proposed 75 single-family lot development on Hog Mountain Road at Thursday’s meeting. They did vote 4-1 to approve the first reading to annex the land into the city from Hall County.
After the meeting, Council member Chris Mundy told AccessWDUN the result was “interesting.”
“I’m not sure honestly how we’re going to be able to proceed,” Mundy said. “I thought we had gotten to a point where we were comfortable with what they were presenting, but obviously that wasn’t the case.”…
