COLUMBIA, S.C. (WIS) – The City of Columbia has settled a legal battle with the owner of Constan Car Wash, handing over a $5 million check after a judge ruled the city wrongfully tore down a wall that caused the business to go out of business.
A judge ruled last year that the city wrongfully demolished a wall built to address flooding. Once the wall was torn down, the business was severely damaged.
