MEMPHIS, Tenn. – An auto crash resulted in a broken water main flooding a sinkhole near Stage Park Meadows, the Memphis Police Department said Thursday.
Just after 5:00 Thursday afternoon, MPD confirmed that a crash had occurred on Covington Pike and Chiswood near Stage Park Meadows. Around the same time, Memphis Light, Gas, and Water confirmed that there was a broken water main at Covington Pike near Elmore, with crews on the way to assess the damage.
