A golf cart erupted in flames Tuesday afternoon near Savannah Center in The Villages.
The Villages Public Safety Department responded at 1:59 p.m. to the golf cart fire in the vicinity of 1500 N. Buena Vista Boulevard. Arriving on the scene in less than two minutes, firefighters used a 1 3/4-inch hand line hose to extinguish the golf cart fire. They cleared the scene in about 15 minutes. There were no injuries.
