About 30 South Providence residents gathered in SWAP’s community room on Broad Street for a Q&A with Mayor Brett Smiley the evening of March 24. Residents asked about housing, traffic, redevelopment, and small businesses, among other topics.
The community meeting was organized by the Jacqueline Clements Park (JCP) Collective, a resident-led volunteer organization that centers around engagement on the South Side.
