SARASOTA, Fla. (WWSB) – A family disturbance ended in gunfire Thursday evening after deputies shot a man holding a handgun, the Sarasota County Sheriff’s Office said.
The incident occurred in the 2100 block of 59th Street, two blocks south of University Parkway, east of U.S. 301.
