SANTA BARBARA COUNTY, Calif. (KEYT) – On Thursday, Santa Barbara County released its pre-approved building plans for accessory dwelling units with an eye towards expanding housing options.
The pre-approved building plans for accessory dwelling units, also known as ADUs, are standardized construction blueprints for independent living facilities that comply with the County’s building code and basic zoning standards regarding size and height.
