JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A popular springtime event series returned to downtown Jackson on Wednesday, brining music, food and fun to Smith Park.
Downtown in Bloom drew crowds for its first “Hump Day in the Park.” Organizers said the goal is to turn Smith Park into a vibrant gathering place, not just for those who work downtown, but for the entire community.
“Very important to showing off Mississippi’s downtown, as we call it, because it’s not just downtown Jackson being the capital city.
