MONROE CENTER, Ill. (WIFR) – While Thursday night’s storms did make for some pretty sunsets, the damage done can be felt around northern Illinois.
Ogle County deputies were seen blocking traffic on Route 72 as crews removed a chunk of a structure that was in the middle of the roadway.
The Love’s Travel Stop nearby is reported not to have power, as well as many businesses and households in the area.
Some stoplights along Route 72 also don’t have power as of 9 p.m. Thursday…
