BUNCOMBE COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — A truck crossed the center line and collided head-on with a school bus carrying students from North Buncombe Elementary School on Clark’s Chapel Road on Wednesday, April 1, according to the N.C. State Highway Patrol.
Sgt. Robbie Baker said the truck driver was transported to Missions Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. The school bus driver and students on board were not injured.
