HENDERSON COUNTY, N.C. (WLOS) — At Upward Elementary School, first-grade teacher Kelly Fiveash was nominated by a thankful mom, who says Ms. Fiveash gave her daughter the confidence and academic skills she needed, along with a lifelong friendship.
On Wednesday, April 1, Ms. Fiveash teaches her first graders basic fractions, building their confidence as they work through the exercises.
