Chief Angela Averiett allegedly struck a vehicle carrying a family headed home from a Giants game last year, according to ABC7. Instead of stopping, Averiett kept going in her department-issued Jeep, the station reported.
According to ABC7, Daffani Ryan, who was in the other car with her family, called 911 to report the collision, which happened near Dublin.
Ryan told 911 dispatchers that a silver Jeep traveling on the shoulder — apparently with its lights flashing — veered into her lane, struck her driver’s side mirror and did not stop. She last saw it exiting the freeway…
