LANSING, Mich. (WLNS) – Amid rising costs from tariffs and the war in Iran, Small Business Administration Administrator Kelly Loeffler and Congressman Tom Barrett (R-Charlotte) toured Campbell Press in Lansing Thursday.
“We’re so excited to be at Campbell Press, which is an example of a generational small business that is benefiting from the working family tax cuts,” Loeffler said.
Loeffler and Barrett met with employees at the 53-year-old company and highlighted a number of different tax cuts under the Trump Administration, including allowing for the expensing of capital improvements, which directly benefits Campbell Press.
“I’ve got some new equipment that I bought last year because of that tax credit,” said CEO Pete Campbell. “That makes me more efficient and higher quality, so I can compete more, lower my costs, which makes the end product, the end user, better.”
