KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) – A man is facing an attempted murder charge after a stabbing in Knoxville, according to the Knoxville Police Department. A representative of the department made the announcement Friday morning.
“Twenty-four-year-old Xavien Richie was taken into custody and charged with attempted second degree murder following a stabbing that occurred on Thursday,” the department’s announcement said.
It happened around 12:30 p.m. when officers responded to Central Street and Main Street, according to KPD. There, they found a 34-year-old man who had been stabbed, and he was taken tot he University of Tennessee Medical Center. He’s expected to survive…
