Irondequoit, N.Y. — New York State Police said a medical issue caused a crash that killed a driver Thursday on State Route 590.
Police said they responded to the scene around 6:05 p.m. and found a minivan in a ditch on the east shoulder of the northbound lanes just north of Tryon Park.
The driver and sole occupant, a 60-year-old man, was found unresponsive at the scene, according to police. He was taken to Strong Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead…
