State transportation officials are studying two alternatives for redesigning Glasgow Avenue, including one that would bring a “Main Street” feel to a portion of the road near Peoples Plaza.
“Overall, this project is going to help all modes of traffic – pedestrian, cyclists and motorists,” said Paul Leary, of Century Engineering, which is the Delaware Department of Transportation’s design consultant for the project. “It will reduce the number of accidents that we have and help connect our neighborhoods and continue to grow Delaware.”
