A Van Meter man was arrested Wednesday after he allegedly assaulted as Adel woman in the home and damaged her property.
Jared Tyler Quelland, 34, of 513 Main St., Van Meter, was charged with first-offense domestic abuse assault-bodily injury or mental illness and fifth-degree criminal mischief.
