Kansas City, Kansas, parks face wave of vandalism and theft

KANSAS CITY, Kan. (KCTV) – Kansas City, Kansas, Parks and Recreation officials are asking residents to watch for vandals after multiple damage reports at several parks.

At Westheight Park, thieves stole the chain baskets at the disk golf course. Someone stole fencing at Klamm Park. Graffiti covers slides at several playgrounds.

At Northrup Park, a brand-new playground that is not yet open to the public has already been vandalized.
