St. Paul assistant mayor resigns less than 3 months into Kaohly Her’s first term

One of the four assistant mayors to St. Paul Mayor Kaohly Her has resigned less than three months into her appointment.

It has emerged this week that Jodi Pfarr made the decision to return to the Ramsey County Attorneyโ€™s Office, her previous employer, following a stint at St. Paul City Hall as assistant mayor for people and neighborhood vitality. As of Friday, no details have been provided regarding the reason for her departure.

Pfarr’s brief tenure lasted from Jan. 5 to March 23, with her pay set at $79.33 per hour, or $165,000 per year. Her role involved overseeing parks, libraries, water, and the city’s human resources, technology and communications, and human rights departments…
