Viewers react to Artemis II launch

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (KELO) — The Artemis II mission launched Wednesday evening with a crew of four astronauts headed for orbit around the moon.

For the first time in over 50 years, a spaceship is headed for the moon.

“It’s a great opportunity to actually see the far side of the moon again,” said Kelly Sumner, a teacher visiting from Rapid City. “And my mom worked for Ball Aerospace for 32 years. She was involved in the Hubble and with the Mars rovers. So, I know a lot about the space program.”…
