Residents blast Roswell’s new pay-to-park policies

ROSWELL, Ga. — Speakers repeatedly blasted members of the Roswell City Council March 30 objecting to the city’s implementing paid parking in the downtown area.

More than 100 people attended the open-mic session, some not even residents of Roswell but employees of businesses on Canton Street. Applause resounded through the council chambers after each comment.

As is standard at open-mic sessions, council members merely listened and will respond to comments and answer questions on the city’s website…
