‘It just was a terrible way to die’: Nurul Alam’s attorney speaks out on autopsy findings and homicide manner of death

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — New details are shining light on the final days of Nurul Alam’s life, whose death has now been ruled a homicide.

Alam was in custody at the Erie County Holding Center. On Feb. 19 at 5:25 p.m., he was released into the custody of border patrol agents.

According to Alam’s family’s attorney, Terry Connors, border patrol agents then drove Alam to the Batavia ICE facility…
