State line split shows big gap in gas prices between Tennessee, Georgia

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — Right now, a few miles can mean a different price at the pump. But is it worth crossing state lines for?

Drivers in the Chattanooga area are seeing a noticeable gap in gas prices depending on which side of the state line they are on.

Regular gas in Tennessee is sitting around $3.79 a gallon.

Just across the line in Georgia, it is closer to $3.49
