CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — The family of a student killed in a Tennessee school bus crash last week has filed a lawsuit against the Clarksville Montgomery County School System and the bus driver.
On Friday, March 27, the crash happened on Highway 70 in Carroll County. Two students were killed and several others were injured. Video obtained by FOX 17 News shows the school bus driving slightly over the double yellow line, entering the opposite lane of traffic. Shortly after driving onto the wrong side of the road, the school bus crashed into the TDOT truck, causing the truck to catch fire. The bus is then seen driving off the road and crashing into a tree.
Now, John and Jessica Davis, the parents of middle schooler Zoe Davis who died in the crash, are suing for CMCCS and the bus driver for negligence…
