COLUMBIA, S.C. — A federal lawsuit filed by a local church organization against Richland County over grant funding and the fate of a local mall now has a potential court date, according to court records.
On Thursday, Federal Judge Mary Geiger Lewis issued a scheduling order that includes important dates spanning about 10 months and requiring action by attorneys for Word of God Church and Ministries International, and by several members of county government, including the county council members and the county administrator, among others.
