Everyone’s familiar with the country’s Atlantic coast, Pacific coast, and gulf coast, but an Erie shipyard is joining a collaborative effort to bring new opportunities to the nation’s fourth coast – the Great Lakes region.
This week, Donjon Marine Company announced they will be joining forces with Fincantieri Marine Group and Fraser Shipyards – two Wisconsin-based shipbuilders – to boost their chance at bringing new shipbuilding programs and technology to the Great Lakes. They call it the “Fourth Coast Shipbuilding Alliance.”
