The Sedgefield Hunt hosted its annual Hound Performance Trials March 27–29 near Southern Pines, NC, where the Green Creek Hounds turned in a strong performance, finishing second overall among 11 hunts and 53 participating hounds.
Green Creek Hounds opened the competition with steady work from Georgia, Volcano and Yoshi, each earning placements in the hunting category. Volcano also secured second place in trailing. By the end of the first day, Volcano was named Top Hound, while Yoshi finished among the top 10.
Competition intensified on the second day, with runs held across the Gamelands where the competition was held.
