If you have an old American flag and aren’t sure how to dispose of it, a local American Legion will take it off your hands.
American Legion Post 742 in Fairview has recently installed an American flag drop box at the entrance to their building.

One veteran said you shouldn’t just throw your flags in the garbage, and the drop box allows those flags to be disposed of the right way through burning.
