Monk from Walk for Peace adopts three-legged dog from Guilford County Animal Services

GUILFORD COUNTY, N.C. — Thanks to one of the Monks that participated in the Walk for Peace, a dog from the Triad now has a place to call home.

Guilford County Animal Services announced today that it’s three-legged dog, Hopper, has been adopted by Monk John after being at the shelter for 121 days.

Hopper was taken in by the shelter while injured. He was suffering from an illness that required his leg to be amputated for his life to be saved…
