Marietta man accused of breaking into local bank

Delonte Je’Von Taylor, 28, of Marietta, is accused of breaking into Fifth Third Bank, 1920 Powers Ferry Road in Marietta, on March 23 at 9:50 p.m. through a locked rear door, according to an arrest warrant from the Cobb County Police Department.

Taylor broke open and damaged five bank teller drawers. The total damage was approximately $1,250. While outside the bank, Taylor ran away from a marked police vehicle with its lights on after being given verbal instructions to stop. Taylor was seen on video footage fiddling with the keyhole area and exterior handle of the bank’s door, according to the warrant.

Taylor is charged with burglary – second degree; obstruction/hindering law enforcement; criminal damage – second degree; littering; and loiter prowl. He was arrested on March 23 at 10:42 p.m. and booked into the Cobb County Adult Detention Center, according to jail records…
