As we hop toward Easter, our thoughts turn to Peter Cottontail. But for residents of the Orange Tree neighborhood in northern Golden Gate Estates, Peter and his pals posed quite a problem for quite some time.
Four years ago, a breeder released rabbits into his backyard where they did what rabbits do. Soon 80 bunnies turned into hundreds and this species of mixed-breed European rabbits became a floppy eared problem in the Orange Tree neighborhood of North Naples.
