It is really ridiculous that these local officials who are approving thousand of new houses and apartment are now complaining about water. Didn’t they think about each one having a shower, a dishwasher, a kitchen sink, and two toilets? What about the 60+ golf courses, water features, artificial lakes, lawns, and above all the fresh flowers in The Villages. These officials at this point should be ashamed of themselves.
A building moratorium should be enacted putting a stop to all new permits being issued and all new construction on existing approved projects which have not started being stopped, and water usage on non-essentials be stopped…
