SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) officers seized a large amount of heroin and fentanyl at the U.S.-Mexico border in Southern San Diego that was hidden in a vehicle attempting to enter the United States.
This week, CBP announced the seizure of more than 20 pounds of fentanyl and three pounds of heroin on March 10.
CBP reported that a 26-year-old Mexican national, who was driving a 2017 Nissan Sentra, was sent to secondary inspection while trying to cross the border from Mexico into the U.S. at the San Ysidro Port of Entry…
