PEMBERVILLE, Ohio (WTVG) – The Portage River flooded several backyards on Friday due to recent storms, nearly reaching multiple homes.
One resident said it’s the worst flood she has seen since 2008.
“It gets a little scary, really. This hasn’t happened since 2008. I live here because I love the river, but you pay a little price sometimes this happens. The river just stopped short of coming into my house, so I got very, very lucky,” Marilyn Bowlus said…
