CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa (KCRG) – A Linn County judge sentenced a Hiawatha man to a deferred judgement with two years of probation and 10 years on the sex offender registry Friday.
Peyton Helgeson pled guilty to indecent contact with a young girl at the Early Childhood Center at St. Matthew Catholic School.
The deferred judgement means he avoid prison time if he stays out of trouble. Helgeson will also be required to have five years of no-contact with the victim…
