BYRAM — The Byram Police Department will ramp up enforcement efforts across the city this week as part of a public safety initiative ahead of the Easter holiday weekend.
Operation Keep Byram Safe is scheduled to run April 2 through April 4 and will feature an increased and highly visible police presence, officials said. The initiative is aimed at deterring crime, improving traffic safety and ensuring residents and visitors can travel safely during a period of expected higher traffic.
Police said the operation will include coordinated efforts with additional law enforcement partners, along with a range of enforcement strategies.
