SEWARD, Neb. — Amid the rise of streaming, one video store proves that generations still treasure the tactile experience of picking a movie off the shelf.
Movie Place Video opened in 1984 when the Wisehart family expanded from managing the historic Rivoli Theatre into VHS rentals. Over the decades, the store grew to include DVDs and Blu-rays, becoming one of the few independent video stores left in the country.
