Lodi man accused of threatening deputies arrested after 6-hour standoff

LODI, Wis. — A 38-year-old Lodi man was arrested early Thursday morning after a six-hour standoff that started after he allegedly threatened law enforcement.

A Columbia County Sheriff’s Office deputy was responding to an emergency medical call along West Harmony Drive just before 9:50 p.m. Wednesday night when a man several houses away from the scene started yelling towards first responders.

When the deputy went to speak with the man, he allegedly started making threats towards other deputies in the area. The man allegedly left his home with a knife in hand and threatened to kill the deputies…
