Alieu Jarjou, a member of the Rollin 20s set of the Crips, pleaded guilty Friday in federal court to a racketeering conspiracy that prosecutors say included the March 9, 2021, daylight killing of 30-year-old Jadon Robinson in the Bronx. Jarjou admitted he shot Robinson to boost his standing in the gang and now faces a potential life sentence at a hearing set for August 18, 2026. Jarjou Pleads Guilty In Federal Court
Jarjou, also known by the nicknames “Scally” and “Lu Scally,” pleaded guilty on April 3 to one count of racketeering conspiracy, during which prosecutors say he committed murder, and to a firearms count that prosecutors say involved a gun being brandished and discharged. The plea exposes Jarjou to a possible life sentence on the racketeering count and carries a mandatory minimum of 10 years on the firearms charge, with sentencing scheduled for August 18, 2026. The case is being handled by the U.S. Attorney’s Office’s Violent Organizations and Crime Unit, which announced the plea in a press release from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, SDNY.
Prosecutors Say Killing Was Retaliation
According to prosecutors, Jarjou shot Robinson near 1268 Morrison Avenue in the Soundview neighborhood after learning Robinson was suspected of assaulting a Rollin 20s member. They say the killing was meant both to retaliate and to elevate Jarjou’s status inside the set. Court filings and the indictment describe the Rollin 20s Crips as a Bronx-based enterprise that sold narcotics and used violence to protect territory. That account of the murder and of Jarjou’s membership in the group was first detailed when charges were unsealed in January 2025, as reported by Norwood News.
State Conviction And Prior Sentence
Jarjou is also facing the fallout from a separate state case. Bronx prosecutors say a jury convicted him in November 2024 of firing at a moving vehicle, and the Bronx District Attorney’s Office announced a combined 12-year sentence in March 2025. That daylight shooting, which the DA said happened in front of 1065 East 232nd Street in Edenwald, is cited by prosecutors as another example of Jarjou turning to gunfire on Bronx streets.
