Glenwood Road Stickup Suspect Tracked to Lithonia Apartment, Cops Say

Dakin Adam Braddick was taken into custody Thursday after a coordinated fugitive raid at an apartment complex in Lithonia, wrapping up what investigators describe as a weeks-long search by law enforcement. Authorities say he is accused of robbing a person who was selling designer clothing and footwear on Glenwood Road in Decatur on March 3. Braddick now faces multiple felony counts and is being held in the DeKalb County Jail pending further court proceedings.

Arrest and charges

According to a press release provided to local media, DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office fugitive deputies, working with the U.S. Marshals Service and the Gwinnett County Sheriff’s Office, arrested Braddick at an apartment complex in the 6800 block of Main Street. He is charged with one count of felony armed robbery, one count of first-degree hijacking of a motor vehicle, one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and two counts of financial transaction card fraud. After the arrest, he was booked into the DeKalb County Jail and is being held without bond. Investigators say the probe remains active, as reported by FOX 5 Atlanta.
